kACARS Setup Step 1

Welcome to FSV/Pan Am's kACARS flight tracking app.

This post is here to help our pilot get kACARS installed and setup
There's not a whole to getting kACARS installed and logged in to the prospective Airline you want to track your flight for.


Step one:
Got to FSV'S / Pan Am's wed site

Step 2:
For Pan Am in the drop down menu click on Crew Center Then My Profile
Once in your My Profile page scroll down to the Flight Operations. Click the kACARS icon to download kACARS


Step 3 Pam Am Profile ini
On the My Profile page next to the kACARS icon in the profile ini. Download it. Unzip the PAA_CFG.zip. Inside the unzipped PAA_CFG folder is
Pan-AM.xml.

Open kACAR'S main folder "FS-Products" folder. Look for the Profile folder
copy the Pan-AM.xml and paste it into the Profile folder.

kACARS Setup part 2

User Settings:

1. Start kACARS, Run as Admin.

Choose the Airline you are going to fly for.
FSV'S

Pan Am's
Base URL: https://www.fspaa.com/

Pilot ID.......Your Callsign
Put the password you use to login to Pa Am or FSV'S Website.
Click the save icon.
